Mariana und Nicholas sind nach Deutschland geflüchtet. Als sie in Deutschland ankamen, sind ihnen viele kulturelle Besonderheiten aufgefallen, die ihnen am Anfang sehr fremd waren. Mit diesem Video wollen sie andere Menschen mit Fluchthintergrund unterstützen und ihnen wertvolle Tipps für ein Leben in Deutschland geben.

Nicholas: Hallo, Guten Tag!
Mariana: Hallo! Wir möchten dir ein paar praktische Tipps geben, wie du dich am schnellsten in Deutschland einleben kannst.
Nicholas: In Deutschland gibt es kulturelle Besonderheiten. Die muss man einfach kennen, wenn man sich hier zurechtfinden möchte. Vieles war für mich am Anfang fremd und zum Teil auch neu.
Wir haben daher mal eine Liste zusammengestellt. Vielleicht hilft euch das ja.
Mariana: In diesen Videos besprechen wir also ein paar alltägliche Situationen, wo es wegen Kulturunterschieden leicht zu Problemen kommen kann.

Tipp Nummer 1.
Wenn man jemanden in Deutschland begrüßt, ist es ganz normal, ihr und ihm die Hand zu geben. Es ist üblich, sich mit einem kurzen Händeschütteln zu begrüßen. Sowohl Männer als auch Frauen schütteln sich gegenseitig die Hände. Dabei schaut man sich gegenseitig kurz in die Augen.
Tipp Nummer 2.
Trifft man sich mit Freunden in Deutschland, begrüßt man sich häufig mit einer Umarmung, in manchen Regionen auch mit einem Kuss auf die Wange. Dies ist eine Geste der Freundschaft.
Tipp Nummer 3.
Pünktlichkeit ist wichtig in Deutschland. Jemand anderen warten zu lassen, gilt als unhöflich. Wenn man zu spät zu einem Termin oder Treffen kommt, kann die Verspätung als Mangel an Respekt angesehen werden. Sollte man sich verspäten, empfiehlt es sich, die andere Person anzurufen und über die Verspätung zu informieren. Dies gilt im Arbeitsumfeld, aber auch im Freundeskreis.
Tipp Nummer 4.
Wenn du mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln fahren möchtest, musst du eine Fahrkarte nicht nur kaufen, sondern eventuell auch entwerten. Die Fahrkarten und die Art des Abstempelns variieren von Region zu Region und von Stadt zu Stadt. Übrigens werden Fahrkartenkontrollen regelmäßig durchgeführt und Schwarzfahren ist nicht nur peinlich sondern auch teuer!
Tipp Nummer 5.
Wenn du in öffentliche Verkehrsmittel einsteigst, solltest du warten, bis die anderen Fahrgäste ausgestiegen sind. Erst dann kannst du einsteigen.
Tipp Nummer 6.
Wenn die Fußgängerampel rot ist, darfst du die Straße nicht überqueren. Warte bis die Ampel grün wird. Das ist ganz wichtig, denn wenn du bei Rot die Straße
überquerst und ein Polizist dich dabei erwischt, musst du eine Strafe zahlen!
Tipp Nummer 7.
Auf dem Bürgersteig solltest du immer gucken, ob es auch einen Radweg gibt. Und wenn ja, pass auf, wenn du auf dem Fahrradweg läufst, damit es nicht zu einem Unfall kommt.
Tipp Nummer 8.
Sonntag ist ein Ruhetag. An diesem Tag sind die meisten Läden geschlossen und nur wenige Leute arbeiten.
Tipp Nummer 9.
Die meisten Deutschen verhalten sich umweltfreundlich: Sie trennen ihren Müll. Selten werfen sie ihren Müll einfach auf den Boden – weder in der Stadt noch in der Natur. Ist kein Mülleimer in der Nähe, so wird Müll in der Hand behalten oder aufbewahrt, bis man ihn entsorgen kann.
Tipp Nummer 10.
Auf viele Flaschen in Deutschland zahlt man ein kleines Pfand. Man bezahlt das Pfand beim Kauf der Flasche und bekommt es zuru#ck, wenn man die Flasche zurückgibt. Die Flaschen können überall zurückgegeben werden, wo man sie kaufen kann. Also nicht nur da, wo sie gekauft wurden.
Mariana: Hallo. Guten Tag. Ich möchte gerne meine Flasche zurückgeben.
Verkäufer: Ja, gerne, kein Problem. Hier bitte das Pfandgeld.
Mariana: Vielen Dank. Schönen Tag noch.
Verkäufer: Ebenfalls, danke schön.
Mariana/ Verkäufer: Tschüss.
Sprecher: Tipp Nummer 11.
Feuerwehrmann: Je nachdem...
Mariana: Und am Wochenende auch?
Feuerwehrmann: Auch am Wochende ja, genau. 24 Stunden, rund
um die Uhr, jeden Tag.
Mariana: Solltet ihr in Not sein, weil ihr z.B. bestohlen werdet, könnt ihr die Polizei unter der Rufnummer 110 anrufen.
In Fällen von Feuer oder medizinischen Notfällen, könnt ihr die Feuerwehr oder den Rettungsdienst unter der Rufnummer 112 anrufen. Diese sollte nur in Notfällen benutzt werden.
Sprecher: Tipp Nummer 12.
Nicholas: Solltet ihr abends, sonntags oder in der Ferienzeit Medikamente benötigen, könnt ihr euch an eine Notapotheke wenden. Um herauszufinden, welche Apotheke als Notapotheke geöffnet ist, sucht einfach nach „Notapotheke“ im Internet und gebt euren Standort an.
Name und Adresse einer Notapotheke findet ihr außerdem an jeder Apothekentür.
