Language skills are playing an increasingly important role in today's business world. In order to meet the specific requirements of corporate clients, LinguaTV has been developing high-quality online language courses for use in companies since 2006. The offer ranges from blended learning with lessons in a virtual classroom to purely self-study courses with language learning videos and a wide variety of exercises, right through to individual learning support. Many improvements have been developed in direct co-operation with corporate customers. A good example of this is the cooperation with Deutsche Post AG, in which effective German language training was realised for employees in the parcel delivery sector. The solution is based on a clever combination of mobile learning and microlearning, as well as a sound onboarding programme. It enables flexible integration into the learners’ everyday working lives and has been successfully implemented in over 40 branches throughout Germany. The high motivation and above-average learning success of the participants speak for the success of this training solution, which has already won several awards.

3. AI-supported learning functions + mobile publishing system

The technical innovation behind such customised solutions is LinguaTV’s flexible mobile publishing system. This system makes it easy to add company-specific learning content to general and job-specific language courses. One example of this is the interactive vocabulary trainer, which is equipped with additional functions such as a pronunciation trainer function and an AI-supported repetition manager. The innovative Conversation Trainer, a role-playing game with typical situations and dialogues from everyday professional and private life, is particularly popular with learners. Thanks to AI-supported speech recognition, learners receive immediate feedback on their pronunciation, which contributes to a motivating learning experience.

4. new platform languages and fresh learning content

LinguaTV has developed its own translation tool to make its learning content accessible to as many learners as possible. This allows course content to be translated quickly and efficiently into different languages, which greatly increases the reach and acceptance of the learning content. For example, German courses can now be used not only in the most important Western European languages, but also in Arabic, Turkish and, more recently, in most Eastern European languages. As part of this extensive expansion, the new platform languages Czech and Bulgarian have also been introduced.

5. optimised blended learning with lessons in the virtual classroom

In addition to these improvements for self-learners with the app and coaching, LinguaTV has also further optimised its offer for lessons in the virtual classroom. For example, exciting new formats and content for English lessons via blended learning have been developed in cooperation with Allianz SE. These are particularly beneficial for active speaking and are extremely popular with the insurance group's employees.
