Product test: top score for language training

Product tests are of crucial importance for customers and users as they enable them to make informed purchasing decisions. Independent reviews and testimonials allow consumers to better assess the quality, performance and reliability of a product. Now the LinguaTV team has undergone such a product test. None other than the education experts from the renowned eLearning Journal have extensively tested LinguaTV's language training and awarded it the top rating of “EXCELLENT”. The judges were particularly impressed by the ingenious “Blended Learning & Teaching” concept. But what exactly does it involve?

It's a first! 

With a score of 92 points, the jury of the eLearning Journal has awarded its highest rating to date. It thus recognizes the high quality of LinguaTV's language training. The “Blended Learning & Teaching” concept was tested with a special focus on didactics, methodology, technology and user-friendliness.

Blended learning, i.e. the combination of e-learning and face-to-face teaching, is now widely used. In addition to the advantages of digital learning, many learners do not want to do without a personal contact person. However, LinguaTV goes one step further and also offers instructor-led lessons in the virtual classroom and combines both components. “With this close integration - instead of a mere add-on - we are going a decisive step further (in contrast to many other providers) to ensure even more effective language training,” emphasizes Philip Gienandt, Managing Director of LinguaTV GmbH.

The fact that this concept works very well in practice is not only confirmed by the tests of the eLearning Journal. Many well-known customers such as Allianz SE, Deutsche Post DHL Group, DEKRA, Edeka and TÜV Rheinland have already been using LinguaTV's successful language courses for several years. The virtual lessons via video conference are closely interlinked with the digital self-study courses. For example, the experienced teachers give the (home) task of watching a specific video or completing an interactive exercise in the LinguaTV app. In the following session, these topics are then taken up and explored in greater depth, relevant vocabulary is repeated and open questions are clarified. As the interactive course content has been specially designed for microlearning, the short learning nuggets are much easier to integrate into the often hectic daily routine.

The jury was also impressed by the user-friendliness of the language training program. Learners receive individually optimized lessons that are geared towards their respective learning level and needs. The intuitive user guidance and transparent presentation of learning progress also scored particularly well.

The technical implementation of the self-study courses as a native app guarantees optimum support for learning on the move (mobile learning).
