eLearning AWARD 2020: Virtual Ceremony
LinguaTV and Gegenbauer have developed an innovative language training together. The successful project was awarded with the eLearning AWARD 2020. The award ceremony should actually take place at Didacta 2020. Because of Covid-19 it was now held in virtual space.
Many employees of the Gegenbauer Group have a migration background and require good to very good German language skills in order to integrate into working life. However, attending traditional classroom instruction is out of the question due to different working hours (including shift work), changing locations and heterogeneous prior knowledge.
In order to enable the employees an effective language training, Gegenbauer has developed a solution together with LinguaTV: A combination of a mobile language learning app, personal support by coaches and lessons in the virtual classroom. Thanks to the close cooperation during the conception, development and implementation of the project, a language training with company-specific learning content could be individually tailored to the needs of the course participants and was successfully implemented.
The project was awarded the eLearning AWARD 2020.
